We are Building the Network
We envision a framework built on collaborative practice and community-centered trust.
This framework establishes a natural checks-and-balance approach by promoting the importance of interprofessional support between a peer’s community supporter and clinician to minimize risk and maximize potential benefit.
Our framework is a collaborative practice support model, and it streamlines the connection between clinicians and PsiloHealth trained, vetted, and trusted Psilocybin Peer Supporters to best support a peer or client in gaining clarity about what psilocybin is, its potential benefits, risks, and practices to better minimize the chances of a troubling psychedelic experience.
This conceptual framework is our attempt at enabling the creation of an equitable regulatory model to meet community members where they’re at through the pairing of Certified Peer Supporters and psychedelic-literate clinicians.
